🥄Ingredients:
For the meatballs:
🔸1/2 lb ground beef
🔸1/2 cup breadcrumbs
🔸1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
🔸1 egg
🔸2 garlic cloves, minced
🔸1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
🔸Salt and pepper, to taste
🔸1 tbsp olive oil
For the spaghetti:
🔸4 oz spaghetti
🔸1 tbsp olive oil
🔸2 garlic cloves, minced
🔸1/2 can (7 oz) crushed tomatoes
🔸1/2 tsp dried basil
🥄Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped fresh parsley, salt, and pepper.
Mix well with your hands and form into 6-8 meatballs.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the meatballs and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.
While the meatballs are baking, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a separate large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the crushed tomatoes, dried basil, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
