Taco salad lunch bowl

🥄Ingredients:
🔸1/2 pound lean ground beef or ground turkey
🔸Salt and pepper
🔸1 tablespoons homemade taco seasoning

🥄Ingredients:
🔸1/2 pound lean ground beef or ground turkey
🔸Salt and pepper
🔸1 tablespoons homemade taco seasoning
🔸½ cup water
🔸3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
🔸7-ounce can black beans, rinsed and drained
🔸7-ounce can corn, drained
🔸1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
🔸1/2 cup grated cheddar
🔸1/2 cup salsa

🥄Instructions:

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef or turkey and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook, breaking up the meat, until it is browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until most of the liquid has evaporated and the meat is cooked through, about 5 minutes. Set it aside to cool.

Assemble the salad: Divide the chopped romaine lettuce in a container.

Place the black beans and corn next to the lettuce.

Once the meat has completely cooled, carefully spoon it into the other side of the container.

Add the cherry tomatoes on top of the beans and corn, and sprinkle the grated cheese across the top of the lunch bowls.

Finish by adding ¼ cup of salsa on top of the taco meat in each container.
