🥄Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
1/2 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
Pinches of salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 tablespoon cooking oil
Prepared teriyaki sauce
Optional: toasted sesame seeds
Teriyaki Sauce:
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
🥄Instructions:
Season diced chicken with salt and pepper; set aside.
Heat the cooking oil in a sauté pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sauté, stirring occasionally, until cooked through.
While the chicken cooks, prepare the teriyaki sauce.
Once the chicken is cooked, pour the teriyaki sauce over it and toss to coat evenly. Continue cooking until the sauce simmers and thickens.
Remove from heat and serve with rice, optionally topped with sesame seeds and cooked broccoli on the side.
For the Teriyaki Sauce:
Whisk together all sauce ingredients until well combined.
