Whiskey bbq chicken wings

🥄Ingredients:
🔸150 – 250 g chicken wings (about 3-5 wings)
🔸2 tablespoons whisky
🔸2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
🔸1 tablespoon honey
🔸1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
🔸1/2 tablespoon olive oil
🔸1 clove garlic, minced
🔸1/4 teaspoon paprika
🔸Salt and pepper, to taste
🔸Sesame seeds for garnish

🥄Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine whisky, barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to make the marinade.

Place the chicken wings in the marinade. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated.

Arrange the chicken wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, leaving some space between each wing.

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Once the wings are cooked through and crispy, remove them from the oven and brush them with the remaining BBQ glaze.

Return the wings to the oven and bake for an additional 2-5 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize slightly.

Once done, remove the wings from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

Garnish the wings with chopped parsley or green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
