Simple 5-Ingredient Crepes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup (240ml) milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional, for sweet crepes)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the batter ingredients: flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, salt, and sugar (if using) until smooth.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat. Lightly grease the pan with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Pour about 1/4 cup (60ml) of batter into the hot pan, and quickly tilt and swirl the pan to spread the batter into a thin circle.
  4. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the edges start to lift and the bottom is lightly golden. Flip carefully and cook the other side for another minute.
  5. Remove the crepe and repeat with the remaining batter. Serve with your favorite fillings.
