Mini Meatball Spaghetti
This Mini Meatballs Spaghetti recipe is a kid-friendly favorite, featuring bite-sized meatballs and perfectly saucy spaghetti that's fun to eat and easy to enjoy!
Ingredients
For the Mini Meatballs:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup (40g) breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Spaghetti:
- 8 oz (225g) spaghetti, broken in half
- 1 jar (24 oz / 680g) marinara sauce
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix with your hands until just combined. Roll the mixture into mini meatballs, about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat with a drizzle of oil. Cook the meatballs, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. To confirm they are done, cut one open to ensure it's no longer pink in the middle. For guaranteed results, a meat thermometer should read 160°F (70°C).
- While the meatballs cook, cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain the pasta well.
- Pour the marinara sauce into the skillet with the cooked meatballs. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing gently to coat it completely.
- Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy!
Enjoy!
