Hummus, Avocado, and Ham Sandwich

A simple yet delicious sandwich that layers creamy hummus and mashed avocado with savory ham and fresh greens for a quick, healthy, and satisfying lunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of your favorite bread
  • 1/4 cup (60g) hummus
  • 1/2 ripe avocado, sliced or mashed
  • 1 small handful of fresh salad greens
  • 1-2 slices of high-quality ham
  • Optional: Squeeze of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Spread hummus on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Layer the sliced avocado over the hummus on one slice. Gently mash with a fork if you prefer.
  3. Pile on the fresh salad greens and then the ham slices.
  4. Season with a pinch of salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.
  5. Complete the sandwich by placing the other slice of bread on top, hummus-side down.
