Hummus, Avocado, and Ham Sandwich
A simple yet delicious sandwich that layers creamy hummus and mashed avocado with savory ham and fresh greens for a quick, healthy, and satisfying lunch.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of your favorite bread
- 1/4 cup (60g) hummus
- 1/2 ripe avocado, sliced or mashed
- 1 small handful of fresh salad greens
- 1-2 slices of high-quality ham
- Optional: Squeeze of lemon juice
Instructions
- Spread hummus on one side of each bread slice.
- Layer the sliced avocado over the hummus on one slice. Gently mash with a fork if you prefer.
- Pile on the fresh salad greens and then the ham slices.
- Season with a pinch of salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.
- Complete the sandwich by placing the other slice of bread on top, hummus-side down.
