Spooky Spider Deviled Eggs for Halloween

A fun and spooky appetizer perfect for any Halloween party. These deviled eggs are cleverly decorated with black olives to look like creepy, crawling spiders.

Ingredients

• 2 hard-boiled eggs
• 1-2 tbsp mayonnaise or filling of choice
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Black olives for spider bodies and legs

For Apple Smileys:

• Apple slices
• Peanut butter
• Peanuts or mini marshmallows for teeth

Instructions

1. Prepare the deviled eggs: Halve the hard-boiled eggs lengthwise, scoop out the yolks, and mash them with mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. Refill the egg whites.
2. Create the spiders: Cut a black olive in half lengthwise for the 'body'. Place one half in the center of a deviled egg.
3. Slice the other olive half into thin, curved pieces for the 'legs'. Arrange four legs on each side of the olive body.
4. For apple smileys: Spread peanut butter on apple slices and press peanuts or mini marshmallows into the peanut butter to create 'teeth'.
