Classic Tuna Pasta Salad

A simple, classic, and refreshing pasta salad that combines flaky tuna, crisp cucumber, and juicy cherry tomatoes in a light and creamy mayonnaise dressing.

Ingredients

  • 10 oz (300g) pasta (fusilli or penne)
  • 1 can (5 oz / 150g) tuna, drained
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 cup (150g) cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts
  • Fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and let it cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, halved cherry tomatoes, and diced cucumber.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the tuna with mayonnaise. Add this to the pasta mixture.
  4. Stir in the chopped basil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Sprinkle with pine nuts just before serving for added crunch.
