Whiskey BBQ Glazed Chicken Wings
Crispy baked chicken wings are tossed in a bold and smoky glaze made with whiskey, barbecue sauce, and honey for the perfect game day appetizer or party food.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb (250g) chicken wings
- 2 tbsp whisky
- 2 tbsp barbecue sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the marinade ingredients: whisky, barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Toss the chicken wings in the marinade until evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown, crispy, and cooked through.
- Optionally, brush with any remaining glaze and broil for the last 2-3 minutes to caramelize.
