Greek Chicken Meatballs with Tzatziki

Flavorful, tender chicken meatballs seasoned with Greek spices are pan-fried until golden and served with fluffy rice, a fresh cucumber salad, and creamy homemade tzatziki.

Ingredients

For the Chicken Meatballs:

  • 1 lb (500g) ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup (60g) breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin & salt/pepper

For the Tzatziki:

  • 1 cup (240g) Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and squeezed
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced & 1 tbsp fresh dill

Instructions

  1. Make the meatballs: Mix breadcrumbs and milk, then add ground chicken, egg, garlic, onion, and seasonings. Form into balls.
  2. Cook the meatballs in a skillet with olive oil until golden and cooked through.
  3. Prepare the tzatziki: Mix yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, dill, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook rice according to package directions.
  5. Serve the meatballs with the rice, tzatziki, and a simple diced tomato and cucumber salad.
