Greek Chicken Meatballs with Tzatziki
Flavorful, tender chicken meatballs seasoned with Greek spices are pan-fried until golden and served with fluffy rice, a fresh cucumber salad, and creamy homemade tzatziki.
Ingredients
For the Chicken Meatballs:
- 1 lb (500g) ground chicken
- 1/2 cup (60g) breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
- 1 egg
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin & salt/pepper
For the Tzatziki:
- 1 cup (240g) Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated and squeezed
- 2 garlic cloves, minced & 1 tbsp fresh dill
Instructions
- Make the meatballs: Mix breadcrumbs and milk, then add ground chicken, egg, garlic, onion, and seasonings. Form into balls.
- Cook the meatballs in a skillet with olive oil until golden and cooked through.
- Prepare the tzatziki: Mix yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, dill, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook rice according to package directions.
- Serve the meatballs with the rice, tzatziki, and a simple diced tomato and cucumber salad.
